Visualizing the Bailout

or according to the Government

The economics are hard to separate from the politics and ethics. Without going into a lecture, I personally do not believe it is our money, or that big government spending is inherently wrong, or that whether or not Obama's lying about it something that we can do anything about.

That said, I find it hard not to care. I believe that smaller government, capitalism, and tax cuts are normally the better way to go, but I cannot claim that it is a moral issue about which the government leaders will stand before God and need to explain. And, while I recognize that wrong motives of greed and wrong actions of lying about it are... wrong, we are not the judge. The authorities are to us just that. They will answer to God and the polling booth. Until then, I must strive to not concern myself with things beyond my realm of responsibility.
