Though small in size perhaps to manifest the characteristics of humility, this book is by no means treats the issue of pride lightly.
Though I feel as if I only gleaned half of the truths (or less), my pride was seriously challenged by the simple Scriptural truths Mahaney compiles here. I hope to go back again and again and read these short chapters to challenge every man's greatest enemy- pride- and to encourage every man's best friend- humility.
One of the many simple truths I was reminded of/challenged with/exposed to was the fact that humility is first understanding how great and holy God is and how lowly and sinful we are. Even in heavan, when our sin is no more, the distance between us and God is so great that we won't but worship.
