Thoughts on a baby...

There are so many things that have changed, so much to be thankful for, so much to pray for, so many things running through my head. I will copy here what few new thoughts come to mind at this time.

I never really used "baby" vocabulary before, but it's quite easy to use "onesie" and "binkie" and "cutie" in regular speech now.

That first week contianed some of the most extreme highs and lows of emotions I've had in a while. The low points of emotion, however, were and still are within the framework of the best, happiest days since my honeymoon.

I've heard people say that if you want to find out how much of a sinner you are, have kids. Man, how true. What I want more than to please God has rarely been more apparent than when I want my child to stop crying incessantly.
