The Dangerous Book for Boys M
by Conn and Hal Iggulden
Non-fiction
Another book after my own heart (see Gigantic Bathroom Reader). Where else can you read of historical battles, the proper way to skin a rabbit, Morse code, astronomy, and a host of other topics? I'm not certain exactly what the title is intended to mean, but this type of information is certainly not dangerous for boys to know. It may be dangerous to employ without adult supervision, but its not inherently dangerous. It's more likely to suggest that this book is filled with all sorts of things that boys used to know but it's now politically incorrect to teach them or insinuate that they are boyish things. Pish-posh. It's great. I can't wait to skin a rabbit- we'll get one next time, bro.
