Movie Review-- K-19: The Widowmaker

K-19: The Widowmaker

Genre: Action/Suspense

Summary: A Soviet Nuclear Subamarine attempts to survive contamination.

My Grade: %85

Pros:
  • Incredible filming, bold attempt to recreate radiation sickness.
  • Two good leading actors: Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson- with passable Soviet accents.
  • Honored the men that sacrificed for their crew, despite the opposition of the Motherland.

Cons:
  • Though well done, it was not itself an epic story.
  • Because of the severely graphic radiation sickness, I was forced to view the movie without my wife.
