Book Report Report

By God's grace and because of required reading for classes, I was able to accomplish my page total goal for reading in the year, though many books on my to-read list were left awaiting my gaze.

There are so many good books out there, so much to learn, and too little time. Again, I intend to read more books this year than movies watched, which should serve to balance my time heavily away from tv. I also aim to read all books that I have received within a year of receiving them (Christmas gifts by next Christmas, etc).

It's amazing, too, to know that our President himself is quite a reader, even with all of his other responsibilities. That type of achievement almost makes me ashamed to aim for my meager marks.

Let me also say, for clarification to doubters and as a reminder to myself, that I know I should pursue these goals so long as the accomplishment of them aids my sanctification and growing in the knowledge and wisdom of Christ. I am not reading merely for the sake of reading, though I certainly could and may be tempted to.
