I agree with almost everything he states and it's more clear than I am able to render.
I do disagree with his conclusion that women should not be governmental leaders.
".. I am not able to say that God only speaks to the role of men and women in home and church. If our roles are rooted in the way God created us as male and female, then these differences shape the way we live everywhere and all the time. "
I believe it is a general principle but not an absolute rule, similar to marriage. Eve was created to meet the needs of Adam, but not every woman is created to be married. Women being submissive and helpers to men is the general design, but that does not exclude the rare case when a woman may have been given appropriate trait s for leadership.
I appreciate Piper's humilty in recognizing other perspectives. He is correct, too, to prioritze abortion over technicalities of womanhood.
